Laser hair removal uses an intense beam of light that selectively destroys the hair follicles by targeting the melanin (colour) in the hair and thereby eliminating the root and blood flow to the hair at the base of the hair follicle.

Laser hair removal is the Permanent Reduction of hair within the treated area. The hair follicle must be within the Anagen phase of growth in order to be successfully treated in treatment, and a maximum of 40% of hairs are in this stage at any one time. With each treatment more hair follicles are damaged, making hair growth thereafter thinner, softer hairs, and less of them!
